During this empowering panel, we will create a much-needed space for dialogue on various issues affecting Black Women's mental health such as depression, anxiety, sexual and intergenerational trauma. We will also explore traditional methods of healing, self-love and so much more.

For Black women, creating such a life means breaking free of negative ideas about themselves that are consciously or unconsciously internalized. Nydia brings insight into this far too overlooked struggle and shares practical tools from her research and personal self-rediscovery journey after trauma.

HEALTH EMPOWERMENT: CONNECTING TO YOUR INNER HEALER

In an age where health is not commonly approached from an African, holistic perspective, it is essential now more than ever for Black women to empower themselves with regards to their own health. Connecting to our inner healer is not an option, it’s a necessity if we are to survive and thrive as Black women!
