Déborah Cherenfant is the founder of Mots d’Elles, a multi-award winning blog dedicated to women leaders & entrepreneurs in Quebec. The visionary entrepreneur has since been involved in numerous local & international initiatives supporting women & entrepreneurs. Her creative mind led to Atelier Coloré, a Montreal-based studio that designs unique accessories and curates a selection of pieces that offer bold combinations and patterns.
Déborah is the winner of the Women of Distinction-Entrepreneurship awards by the Montreal Women’s Y Foundation, and was named “Personnalité de la semaine” by La Presse in 2016 and recently hosted a TED Talk on misrepresentation, inspiration and models.
Déborah is an active member of the community, sharing her time volunteering as the president of the board of Compagnie F an organization catering to vulnerable women entrepreneurs since 1997; as a board member of Fondation KANPE, which enables families in Haiti to achieve financial autonomy and as the co-founder & president of the BIAS Foundation, a think tank promoting cultural and artistic initiatives created by black talents.
